10 years ago…has it really been 10 years? Many of you know I was in the Pentagon that day and I was smack in the path of the plane that attacked the building. I am lucky to be here. But, the purpose of this post is not to relive my own personal story but to say thank you to those that have paid the ultimate price for our freedom – be it the first responders of that day or those that felt compelled to serve following the attacks. For this family, the loss is deep. His brother was killed in Iraq serving for our country. The tattoo in the below image is in memory of this fallen brother and soldier.
Now, this new dad is preparing to serve our country as a firefighter/EMT. I couldn’t be more proud to work this family, photograph their new baby boy blessing, and document their story!
You can bet this little boy is going to play ball when he is older! Dad was a minor league baseball player! I love the props mom and dad brought to the session!

Beautiful work (as always) and thank you to those that serve and protect our country!
Whitney sent these pics to me that you took on Sunday. What a lovely message and a nice tribute that you shared. The pics of my first grandson are beautiful. I’m so happy that I could be there .You have a wonderful touch with babies!
