The weather could not have been more beautiful for today’s apple festival at Greencastle’s Tayamentasachta Environmental Center! We were just in time to grab the last few apple dumplings that are always a HUGE hit on this day! The music was fun too! Apples from Tracey’s Orchard were plentiful – yum!
It was interesting watching the yarn being spun and I hope I have found someone to teach me how to knit more newborn hats for my sessions! This yarn was super soft and from alpacas. My mom, an avid quilter, took a chance on the quilt so hopefully she will win this beautiful one!
My kids loved the horse pulled cart and especially enjoyed the day with friends there too!
