Natural Newborn sessions seamlessly blend the professional expertise of posed newborn photography with the spontaneous charm of lifestyle shoots, offering the perfect solution for capturing your newborn's beauty without the stress of preparing your home for a photo session. Note: Session involves minimal posing and editing; session is baby led with awake or sleeping images. If you are looking for posed sleeping images, please consider one of our other sessions. *Introductory pricing; no further discounts applicable to this session.

PARENT & NEWBORN

STUDIO (3 hrs): Multiple color/prop setups with swaddled and unswaddled posing. Newborns 2 weeks and under preferred. Includes: 50+ professionally edited digital images for electronic download with print release.
FRESH-48 (2 hrs): In-hospital session (Meritus Hagerstown or WellSpan Chambersburg) soon after the birth of your baby. Includes life-style captures with minimal edits of your newborn alone, with family and siblings as well as special moments such as first bath, footprint and first feedings. Due to the unpredictable scheduling of these sessions, only a limited number of fresh-48 newborn sessions are available.
FAMILY

SITTER SESSIONS

$250 +tax
Child only. Minimalist photo session on white backdrop to document your child’s 6-11 month old milestone. Access to extensive neutral clothing closet provided by the studio or you may bring your own wardrobe options (request simple, neutral colors and no theme to keep with our timeless photography style). May include a few simple props and toys provided by studio. Child should be sitting well unassisted.
Includes: 10+ professionally edited digital images for electronic download with print release.
Your published gallery will have the option to purchase additional fine art products that feature your images. It's important to note that the fine art albums reflected in the pricing below are offered at a significantly discounted rate when selected prior to the session date.
Operating since 2005, Snips and Snails Photography is known as the tri-state area's newborn photography specialist. For those fresh, sleepy, curly newborn photos we request (but don't require) newborns age 2 weeks and under. Our schedule fills several months in advance so please contact the studio early for best availability 703.855.5979. Gift certificates are available in any amount and make great baby shower gifts!
Session pricing including edited digital image files begins at $295 for newborn wrapped sessions and $250 for our sitter/6-8 month sessions. Please note our in-hospital fresh-48 are priced as Parent-newborn sessions (and include siblings) and our in-home lifestyle sessions are priced the same as our Family-Studio session. ALL of our sessions INCLUDE the edited digital files with reproduction rights to any size. It is important to us that YOU, not just the studio, have access to your image files and be able to print and display them proudly!
Pricing for your session are locked in at the time of your booking by receipt of deposit, and are guaranteed for 30 days after your gallery has been published. Prices for future sessions and orders are subject to change at any time.
