Snips and Snails Photography is currently scheduling newborns (two weeks and under preferred but not required). If you are expecting, be sure to call or text the studio at 703-855-5979 and have your name placed on our "expecting mommies list" to ensure availability. We do require a $50 deposit to hold a place for your around your due date. Once your baby is born, you will contact the studio and schedule your session - usually about days 9-15 after birth.  Snips and Snails Photography is open by appointment only. Our studio typically books 2-3 months in advance so contact us early for best availability! However, if you have not pre-booked a session, give us a call to see if we have an opening! If your baby is older than 2 weeks, they often do well in an all wrapped session and we will do our best to accommodate you! We have very limited availability though August and are currently scheduling through December 2024!

All newborn sessions occur Monday-Friday (mid-late morning); weekend sessions available June-Aug only; no evening sessions available.

*For family sessions with siblings, you may schedule two separate days, one for the baby alone and a separate appointment for the sibling/family portion. In an effort to keep the studio quiet and less disruptive to the baby and parents, we request young siblings are relocated from the studio once their participation has concluded. If the session includes siblings, the sibling portion is photographed at the beginning.
